I have been struggling to find the perfect pair of clogs - the perfect height, design and colour for summer, and it is completely impossible to find them in Cape Town. So, I have been trawling the net for months and have finally found the perfect pair. The Britta sandals from the Danish brand PLUMO. I am obsessed with them + they are on sale. Now I have to find a way to get them...

Rag & Bone DIY campaign

I love Rag & Bone's latest jean campaign. It entailed giving Miranda Kerr a bunch of R&B clothes and a camera, for hubby Orlando Bloom and fellow VS model Lily Aldridge to capture her in a natural environment, no hair or make up and gave them free reign in this self-shot campaign. The results are so beautiful - Way to go Rag & Bone, no more of this photoshop nonsense!

Country Road backpack

I was on a shoot yesterday for a Targo Bank commercial for Germany and just my luck that they didn't like any of the outfits they had tried on me in the fitting. So, I wore my own clothes, and the lovely wardrobe lady Jo gave me this rad Country Road backpack as a gift for the hassle of having to wear my own stuff. How awesome! I wouldn't mind if this became the norm :)

You can purchase this backpack online here

The latest Olsen to watch - Elizabeth

Besides having ridiculously amazing sisters, Elizabeth Olsen is pretty fab in her own right. Not only is she a stunner, but she has landed the "It Girl" cover of Nylon magazine this month in the US and has an award season buzz movie coming out, Martha Marcy May Marlene. Apparently she is absolutely fantastic in the movie, coming out this December. This girl is definitely one to watch, with another four movies following in the next year.

Rachel Bilson

I love this girl,  she is so beautiful! And I'm looking forward to watching her new show Hart of Dixie - the light looks so amazing in that show. Going to have to download it, cause no doubt will take at least 6 months to get to our screens in Cape Town!

Runway recap - Jil Stuart Ready to Wear '12

Jil Stuart RTW has got to be one of my favorites this season. Wow, I heart it and would wear any of these looks straight off the runway. I'm really glad that peach is getting the praise it deserves this season - what a beautiful colour palette.

Runway recap - Diane von Furstenberg Ready to Wear '12

dy to While I'm not crazy about the overtly tanned models at DVF Ready to Wear, I love her prints and colours. She makes me want to wear more colour in my life, as I tend to get a bit neutral happy most of the time.

Runway recap - Chloe Ready to Wear '12

Top looks from Chloe Ready to Wear - relaxed, effortless and casual. Plus it incorporates three of my favorite colors, white, tan and tangerine. Yes please.

Runway recap - Stella Mccartney Resort 2012

I love Stella. Her looks are so simple, clean cut and beautiful. These are my top looks from the '12 Resort Collection.

After the fashion show

I personally love seeing models leaving the shows at fashion week. Their looks have this mixture of their own personal style, which lets face it, in Candice Swanepoel's case - is stunning, and the designers hair and make-up. It always makes an interesting photo. Here is Candice after Giambattista Valli in Paris and Fendi in Milan.

Summer is here

Today it feels like summer in Cape Town - how wonderful. At this time of year I get so excited to change up my look and wear all those lovely things I havn't been able to wear for the past few months. Plus, my parents come home form London in a few days and I am super excited for the package they are bringing with them :) At the moment I am loving ankle length skirts, but struggle to find great ones here in the Cape. Maybe i'll have to start making them.
