My family and I are heading off to London in a week or two for Christmas, and looking at the weather there makes me super excited that I might be headed for a white Christmas.

William Kentridge

I am so excited people. Josh (the fiance) and I have a house for next year. It is so beautiful. Whites and creams, wooden floors, warm lighting, you get the picture. With this, comes the joy of finding pieces, basics, and statement pieces to turn this little house into our first home. Could anything be this much fun?

As for art and illustrations, my dream would be to have a William Kentridge adorning my walls. 
My obsession with birds continues...

Tribute to the late great Shirley Beryl Hind

I just adore this photo, and discovered the reason why. My granny always used to wear her jackets and jerseys draped over her shoulders, without putting her arms into her sleeves. The familiarity of this look, brings back the sweetest memories of the most wonderful little lady. And this picture also stirs up exciting thoughts of all the lovely things her and her friends got up to in the city in the 30's and 40's. Dreamer.

On my wishlist for Christmas

So, Alexa Chung in the November issue of Elle, stunning as usual. Navy, being my favourite colour, adds to the enjoyment of looking at these pics. She is so effortless and natural. I like her. And i want that dress.

Blake was on the June Vogue cover and this amazing photo shoot was part of that edition, however, here in South Africa, we are heading into beautiful summer! 

And boy does this get me excited for it!

In this shoot, she joins surfer boy, Rob Machado, and the result is perfection. Oh my.
